Don’t be fooled by perpetrators, imitators or imposters. Times are tough and companies are resorting to just about anything to win or steal your business. Like the major fast food chain that went after Starbucks’s business by posting buildboards stating "four bucks is dumb, now serving espresso". Now, that same burger joint is going after the smoothie market.

Please be advised, not all smoothies are made alike. It’s one thing to offer a smoothie product. It’s another thing to disguise your product AS a smoothie and sale a glorified slurpee. Pay close attention to the “marketing”. They state that their smoothies are made with “Real Fruit”. What they don’t tell you or “sell you” is it's not actual fruit. I was also surprised to find out that they use yogurt that contains corn starch in their smoothies. Not a choice I'd make in a smoothie being that many people are lactose intolerant. In recent news there have been reports of companies using certain pulps in their pre-mixes causing typhoid. Stay away from smoothies made with pre-mixes at all cost at least until the culprit is identified.

Let’s see……a smoothie, from a machine with water, ice, dairy and aritficial flavors. (Actually, when I watched a video of this company making smoothies from start to finish I didn't see any actual "fruit" go in the jar at all).
